New Objective Mechanic Update
The Probe!
Both teams (4 humans vs the alien hoard) will now battle to push the probe/bomb back into the enemy spawn area. Right now it's a very rudimentry implementation, but the goal is to hold supremacy underneath the probe, and every 10 seconds it'll evaluate which team it wants to be on - because it only wants to back the winners.
Narrative theming aside, the mechanic works!
AI Updates
The AI now makes better decisions about what to do, ensuring there's always at least one or two minions trying to push the probe along. It is also smarter about engaging nearby enemies or being distracted by whoever shot it last, instead focusing on what it thinks will increase its longevity the most.
Note: The game is totally unbalanced and this is a 'first playable' feature at best. 4 players in the game would result in 24 enemies, it's absolute chaos right now. Tuning will come soon!
