Today's a big patch list, let's get into it


Features

FEAT: Human NPC’s can now grab the bomb and also try to recover the bomb

FEAT: Bomb resets its position if not on its spawn point for a decent amount of time

FEAT: Game can now be completed when bomb is carried onto a site (first pass, it's pretty rough)

FEAT: Scoring system (beginning of one, anyway)

FEAT: Bomb sites can detect bomb entering them

FEAT: Spawn visuals for the enemy base was added

FEAT: AI will now change state if it happens to be holding the bomb, surviving AI can also be released from bomb duty if there’s too many AI on duty


Fixes

FIX: Weapons no longer shoot other players

FIX: Fix for assault rifle raycasts missing enemies or flying overhead

FIX: Fix for bomb site’s finishing the game twice

FIX: Fix for player input raycasting against triggers & shooting over enemy heads for the same reason

FIX: Sniper and Assault rifle use different fx objects and new games don’t try to access destroyed objects

FIX: FXHandler was double-spawning on scene reload

FIX: Removed profanity from debug logs from disgruntled AI that can’t find a turret to kill

FIX: NPC’s trying to shoot at a target they’re nowhere near after death


Optimisations

  • Objects off screen are updates at a significantly lower frequency, buying back 5x perf
