New features!

The new minimap is more than a  square in the corner—it’s your entire tactical playbook condensed to 128 × 128 pixels. It solved a feedback from playlists, namely that there was on-screen indication of where the bomb was. While this is a first pass implementation, it also shows the present location of enemies which will allow players to strategise their path. Turrets are also showing up.

In future, this may prove to be a little too easy to simply navigate around the enemies, so I may need to implement a fog of war.

In terms of ability to read the environment, I've lightened up the level a little. While the grim-dark vibe was great (remember, this is all proxy art for now, once the core loop is nailed down, we'll invest a little more heavily into visuals), it was making the game a tad eye-strainy to play and that wasn't the intent.
